EYE CAN SEE
LNLVIP
in Partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) ran a 2 year project whose aim was to increase number of children receiving eye care services and to increase global knowledge of paediatric eye care through innovation and the implementation of best practices. The project was based in Thabatseka District in 3 community councils. The project commenced with training of teachers in schools who were the screeners and referred them to an ophthalmologist who was able to identify those who need surgery, spectacles and medication which were successfully provided for those in need.
